Description
The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the design, operation, maintenance and operational problems associated with ponds & lagoons, rotating biological contactors and trickling filter treatment systems.

• Ponds and Lagoons: an overview of the design, operation, maintenance and typical operational problems. • Trickling Filters: an overview of the process, classification, operation strategies, start-up and maintenance of trickling filter systems • RBCs: an overview of the RBC treatment process highlighting advantages and disadvantages, O & M issues and typical operational problems
Target Audience
New operators, not yet certified and certified operators wanting to earn continuing education credit.
