Description
Most water utilities use a water meter on customer service lines to measure volume and bill customers for usage. Meters promote conservation and are the basis for water system revenue. Metering and billing are complex operations that span multiple utility departments. When these operations are not optimized, a utility may have apparent water losses and not be able to recover revenue that is due. This course will provide utilities with the tools to assess metering and billing practices at their utility and develop a plan to reduce apparent water losses.
