Description
This is an add on Part 2 of our classic hands-on series that will focus on the centrifugal pump power end. Attendees will experience removing and installing bearings, and measuring critical fits and dimensions. Our team of experts will cover contemporaneous best practices in condition monitoring, lubrication, and more. Completing the Centrifugal Pump Assembly and Repair of this series is not a requirement, but would be applicable. Students will work in a groups of 4 disassembling the Power End of a centrifugal pump, inspecting the castings, drives shaft and bearings. Students will also remove bearings. Once all parts are removed and inspected, the pump will be reassembled. Successful completion of the course occurs when the pump is reassembled.
