Description
This course provides the participant with the basic understanding of electrical prints and components associated with electrical print reading. It also provides the participant with the ability to interpret simple ladder diagrams. Hands-on exercises for print reading will be incorporated throughout the training.

Course Content
- Identification of the organizational make-up of an electrical blueprint.
- Identification of the components represented by electrical print symbols.
- Identification and interpretation of an electrical block diagram and a one-line diagram.
- Identification and interpretation of an electrical three-line diagram.
- Analysis of a circuit print to understand circuit functions and operations.
- Participants will be able to describe the purpose of the piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
- Participants will be able to state the functions of common process loop symbols.
Target Audience
This training is targeted towards Production employees, including maintenance personnel, operators, supervisors, and superintendents.
