Description
All water utilities incur Non-revenue Water (NRW) which includes Real (leakage) losses, Apparent (customer) losses, and unbilled authorized consumption. This workshop will give attendees an understanding of the occurrence and impacts of Non-revenue water (by both water volumes and cost) to the water utility, and to learn the basic workings of the AWWA Free Water Audit Software, which is available at no charge. Utilities are better armed to control the NRW in their system once they have conducted the water audit and know the cost impacts of losses.
