Description
Practical instruction in preventing slips / trips / falls in a variety of workplace situations. Falls are #2 cause of workplace fatalities and #3 cause of injuries. Training covers common hazards in work environments, review of OSHA fall protection standard and discussion of applications for typical water / wastewater treatment operating conditions (above and below grade scenarios). Importance of proper footwear, use of mats or floor surface treatments and lifelines with positioning or 5-point harnesses are covered. Ladder use is also covered in the program.
