Description
Following this Training Course the participants will know what causes wet weather related high flow at wastewater treatment facilities. They will know some available operational methods that can reduce the effects on effluent quality that could cause NPDES violations. They will understand how to be prepared to handle high wet weather seasonal flows at wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities.

The course will describe issues and solutions to operating wastewater treatment facilities when high wet weather flows are anticipated or occur. It will describe the causes of reduced treatment from high flows and provide methods of operation and or equipment additions to avoid or reduce those effects and maintain permit compliance.

This training course is structured for Wastewater Treatment Operators and Personnel that have operating experience with high flow conditions.
