Description
This course will discuss why Asbestos Cement (AC) Pipes found in municipal water and wastewater systems may pose a health risk to workers when the pipes are being disturbed during maintenance, repair and pipe removal activities. This program will present information on the types of asbestos found in AC Pipes, asbestos health effects, federal and state regulatory compliance and “do’s and do nots” when working on AC Pipes during emergencies and planned maintenance activities.
