Description
Remote Terminal or Telemetry Units (RTUs) are computer controlled devices for relaying information from remote to central locations. This short class covers the use of RTUs in the relaying of online monitoring data to a location accessible to an operator for daily checking of information and compiling daily monitoring for DEP reporting. It very briefly touches on the role of RTUs in the larger SCADA system.
