The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of effluent disposal via land application, solids handling technologies and the solids disposal options available.

• Land Application: an overview of effluent disposal via land application. This will include instruction on design and monitoring considerations for various techniques.
• Solids Handling & Disposal: an overview of solids handling technologies and the available disposal options. Instruction on management planning, record keeping and reporting requirements will be included.
• Biosolids Overview and Field Trip
Target Audience
New operators not yet certified and certified operators wanting to earn continuing education credit.
