Description
DEP Safe Drinking Water field staff routinely conduct chlorine analysis in the field during public water system inspections. A QA/QC program which follows EPA Method 334.0 is required for field staff in order to ensure the validity of field measurements and to demonstrate proper sampling techniques and procedures to water system operators. The purpose of the course is to familiarize field staff with the requirements of Method 334.0 and to make sure they and their field instruments are compliant with the method. In addition, the purpose of the course is to introduce and review the Method 334.0 Implementation SOP, which was created to assist field staff with implementation the method and enforcement for non-compliance at public water systems.
