Description
Controlling the effects of algal blooms on drinking water quality is an important part of drinking water treatment. Of particular concern are harmful algal blooms (HABs) which can release toxins into the raw water. This course will teach the basics of algae identification and determining when a water system should be concerned and basic controls.
