Description
This course will provide participants with education, guidance and examples of how to use the AWWA Cybersecurity Guidance Tool to evaluate the security status of their internal control systems.

Course Content
--Identify cybersecurity drivers
--Evaluate the vulnerabilities and consequences of cybersecurity events
--Apply the cybersecurity framework
--Conduct a self-evaluation of internal cybersecurity
--Examine the format and presentation of output controls produced by the Cybersecurity Guidance Tool
--Evaluate the use case outputs and determine which standards make up the control
--Participate in the execution of cybersecurity exercises
--Review how the recommended controls can be used in the next steps of developing a cybersecurity assessment program
--Discuss the development of a cybersecurity program while working with operations and management
Target Audience
This course is intended for utility IT and SCADA professionals whether employed in-house or those who work with the water/wastewater sector as outside IT consultants. Also applicable to water and wastewater system managers who oversee SCADA and Network security.
