Description
This class is meant to give operators a better understanding of dry barrel fire hydrants. Help departments improve on their current flushing programs by showing them procedures that need to be followed each and every time. By following and applying these procedures you can dramatically reduce several events including main breaks, emergency digs, replacing parts and many others. By explaining how a fire hydrant operates you can limit the amount of damage that could occur when you do in fact have an issue with a hydrant. Lastly when knowing how to properly operate and maintain your hydrants you can maintain a safe work environment.
