Description
Upon completion of the course, participants will know how to identify and classify confined spaces. They will understand hazards common to confined spaces and how to recognize such hazards. They will know entry procedures including how to complete an entry permit and hot work permit. They will know how to use and maintain the gas detection equipment that is available at their work reporting location. Attendees will assist in the installation and participate in the use of the district's retrieval system and the forced air ventilator. They will understand the company's policy on non-entry rescue.
Supervisors will use Field Observation Reports during jobsite visits to document effectiveness of the training.
