Description
Municipal workers routinely inspect lift and pump stations on a daily basis which requires them to drive to the various stations. Transportation and vehicle-related accidents have consistently been within the top five causes of workplace injuries. Safe driving practices are critical elements in the prevention of vehicular crashes. Distracted driving crashes are steadily increasing year over year and distracted driving is fast becoming one of the country's biggest health concerns. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that nine people are killed every day in the U.S. as a result of crashes involving a distracted driver.
