Description
This course will focus on the design of facilities less than 1.0 mgd. The course will include the rationale and state regulations that pertain to plant design.
In addition, the course will touch on regulatory drivers that require the installation or expansion of facilities to include Act 537 planning, Chapter 94 waste load management reports and the Clean Water Act. Overall this course is meant to show the operator how the treatment plant design goes from concept to construction. Ultimately the objective of the course is to give operators the basic understanding of the process that will aide in them in collaborating in the process.
