Description
Rare Earth Technology in Wastewater Treatment: This course is designed to provide operators with an introduction to the application of Rare Earth Technology in wastewater treatment. Rare Earth Technology provides an alternative phosphorus removal technology without the need for capital expenditures while providing additional benefits including decreased sludge generation and increased flocculation. Additional information presented will include phosphorus specification and why it is important, phosphorus removal processes including traditional coagulants, treatment goals, testing procedures, and case studies will also be discussed.
