Description
Purpose of this course is a refresher for personnel that respond to emergency hazardous materials spill/release events and have previously completed a 24 hour or 40 hour HAZWOPER course.

Course Content
This course will provide a review of applicable EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to hazardous materials spills or releases, recognition of hazards, monitoring for hazardous materials, proper labeling of hazardous materials containers and use of Safety Data Sheets, DOT Emergency Response Guide book, EPA/OSHA personal protection levels and equipment, containment and clean-up procedures, incident command system.
Target Audience
Water and wastewater personnel that respond to emergency hazardous materials spills/releases that have previously completed a 24 hour or 40 hour HAZWOPER class.
