Description
Viable water systems have a responsibility to generate adequate revenues to maintain their systems. Their water meters are the basic component of generating revenue, so they must operate correctly and be maintained correctly. This 6 hour course will address proper meter selection for a variety of uses, as well as the installation and maitenance of those meters. Most meter systems can also be used with various types of Automatic Meter Reading Systems, and the pro's and con's of each type will be discussed. A special attention will be placed on the correct installation of backflow preventer in the meter installation and the seend for backflow policies.
