This 3-hour session will review the some of the key provisions of the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR). Specifically, we will discuss Sample Site Location Plans and materials evaluation considerations, special monitoring and customer requested sampling, water quality parameter monitoring, lead public education, and simultaneous compliance concerns. We will also review additional resources where participants can find more information on these and other LCR topics.

Target Audience
This course is targeted to operators and management of community and nontransient noncommunity water systems tasked with completing a materials evaluation and sample site plan for lead and copper sampling, responding to action level exceedances, conducting water quality parameter monitoring, and preparing and delivering consumer tap notices and public education materials.
