Description
Farm conservation plans are a requirement for the permit to apply biosolids on farm fields. Most land appliers many not understand the importance of a farm conservation plan. The course will enhance the understanding of a farm conservation plan and provide information regarding the reguirements for having a plan. Also, many questions have been posed on how to properly handle Class B biosolids. This course will answer these questions.

* Conservation plan development and Implementation: requirements of the law; development of the Farm Conservation Plan; implementation of the Plan; and the benefits to the environment for implementing the plan.
* Biosolids Safety: safety practices to control potential risks to workers; steps to take to find, enforce, and eliminate biosolids contamination including case study.
