I have worked as a fire hydrant maintenance man for over 28 years, with over 50,000 hours troubleshooting. I have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of all types of hydrants. Currently owner of Commercial Fire Hydrant Service performing maintenance and repairs on fire hydrants covering five states in the mid-Atlantic region. The purpose of the course is to provide attendees with knowledge and a better understanding of how fire hydrants work, to help them implement a fire hydrant maintenance program, and also to help attendees to decide whether to repair or replace them, and how to do the maintenance and repairs.
