Description
This course is designed to introduce the students to the knowledge of how to identify hazards commonly associated with trench emergencies. This course will cover several action alternatives and tactical probabilities associated with trench rescue efforts. This course will present the actions that can be implemented prior to the arrival of a trained technical rescue team. Topics include case studies, collapse types, hazard control and identification, shoring overview, and initial response actions. This course emphasizes a safe and effective operation during trench emergencies.
