Description
This workshop introduces two analytical techniques commonly used in analyzing drinking water, wastewater, environmental water and industrial water samples. Analytical techniques covered in the course include electrochemistry (pH) and colorimetric analysis. The theory of each technique will be presented will be presented, and calibration, verification and troubleshooting will be discussed. Laboratory and field instruments are featured in the hands-on labs where students develop calibration, verification and troubleshooting skills. Both standard solutions and unknown samples will be analyzed.
