Description
The Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Act (Act 2002-25), signed into law on April 2, 2002, requires that all laboratories performing testing and analysis of environmental samples required by a statutes administered by PA DEP must register with and eventually become accredited by DEP. A clear understanding is needed by operators of the necessity of the "why, what and how" of laboratory quality control and assurance plan and its application.
