Description
In this class, students will learn about laboratory basics and troubleshooting for wastewater treatment. The course will also cover the key elements of wastewater treatment plant maintenance.

Course Content
Wastewater Laboratory Basics and Troubleshooting – The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the basic laboratory equipment and methodologies as it pertains to the wastewater treatment process. This course will include instruction on lab procedures for process control parameters, quality assurance/quality control requirements and data handling, record keeping and reporting.
Treatment Plant Maintenance and Troubleshooting – The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the basic principles of wastewater treatment plant maintenance. The course will include instruction on the structure and implementation of a maintenance program at a wastewater treatment plant.
Target Audience
This course is ideal for current and former licensed PA Wastewater Operators and those pursuing their wastewater treatment operator's license.
