To update currently certified backflow testers in new cross connection plumbing technologies.

After successful completion of this certification course, the student will :
1. Recognize new and traditional designs of cross-connection control devices.
2. Recognize a variety of testing equipment.
3. Use test procedures, test documentation, and compliance regulations.
4. Recognize cross connections related to sprinkler systems.
5. List the requirements to install backflow devices on reuse water systems.
6. Identify energy problems that threaten potable water systems.
7. Apply related good industry-wide practices.
