This two day training was developed by RCAP Solutions to help water and wastewater utilities learn about Asset Management Programs, Develop a Capital Budget, Conduct Maintenance Scheduling and Budgeting, Implement an Asset Management Plan and Conduct Program Review.

The intended audience is the operator of small and mid-size systems as well as those staff involved in reviewing rates, developing budgets and ultimately developing a capital improvements plan. This training is also appropriate for volunteer Board Members of small systems. The ultimate target audience includes System Managers, Board Members, Operators and Utility staff as well as engineers and technical assistance providers. Due to Covid 19 and issues with safe attendance at training events, this content has been adapted and modified from a previously approved in-person PA DEP Course ID #5661 Water and Wastewater Sustainability Using Asset Management and modified for online training . Operators do require practice and guidance in applying Asset Management to their system.
