Description
This is the first of two courses devoted to the operation of the High Temperature Fluidized Bed (HTFB) Incineration Process at the Greater Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority (GHJSA). This course provides a basic review of the incineration process from the Overview courses and introduces the SCADA system. The course looks at the process control for various components of the Incinerator process. The course will then discuss the ways in which operation of the process is maintained. The course will discuss emergency operation of the process and troubleshooting scenarios for components of the system. The course will conclude with a brief summary, highlighting important topics covered.
