Description
This course provides a general review of the fundamentals for water system operators. The course will discuss the responsibilities of an operator, and follow the water path from the hydrologic cycle through the various potential treatment processes, up to the point of distribution. The course will be instructed by a person who has had "real world" experience in the water treatment and supply industry. The course material will be discussed and presented in a manner that will allow the operator to logically comprehend the information, and gain insight in applying this information in their daily work applications. Upon completion of this course, the operaotr should have a general knowledge of various water supply technologies and their applications.
