Description
This course will reinforce with the student the knowledge and skill objectives in order to function safely and effectively at the technician level and at a fixed facility during a hazardous materials release. This course is designed to identify site-specific concerns in the area of response, notification, mitigation, and termination. If successfully completed, the student will be issued a certificate for Site-specific Hazardous Materials Refresher training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120. Subjects to be covered include on-site safety procedures, personal protective equipment, site response actions, decontamination procedures, and emergency response policies and procedures.
