Description
The purpose of the course is to review sanitary survey questions in the SDWINS application for Module 3, specific to the distribution system. Focusing on when staff should mark items during an inspection of the water system distribution as a deficiency or raise the identified deficiency to a violation of the regulations.

Course Content
Course includes review the reference guide content and several key questions in the distribution sanitary survey. We will review the loss of positive pressure policy and when systems need to provide one-hour notification to the Department.
Target Audience
Field and compliance staff who regulate and enforce the Safe Drinking Water Regulations during inspections of the water distribution system.
