Description
Laboratory results and proper lab techniques are important in developing records of plant operations. Laboratory data allows operators to know how efficiently the plant is operating and helps them to predict and prevent troubles that may be developing in the plant processes. This course is designed to introduce the operator and technicians to simplified methods that are outlined in detail in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. The course will introduce a glossary of terms, basic laboratory equipment and techniques. The course will include a discussion of sampling, data recording and recordkeeping, quality control, and safety.
