Description
In the event of a chemical emergency such as a chlorine leak, operators will be required to don a self-contained breathing apparatus. Many facilities have SCBA's at their location but operators are not properly trained in their use, units are not properly maintained and no one has been fit-tested. The purpose of this training course is to train wastewater and water operators to properly don an SCBA, understand the maintenance requirements and be properly fit-tested.
