Description
This course is devoted to the Hydro International Grit Vortex Unit (Grit King) that is installed at the Northeast Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) that serves Philadelphia, PA. We will begin the course with an introduction to the Grit Vortex Unit, how it works, and the other components that assist the unit in its operation. Next, we will go over safety procedures to follow while working on or around the Grit King. After safety, we will discuss the operation of the Grit King and the sequence of operations while using the Grit Vortex System. Next, we will go over maintenance of the Grit King, as well as troubleshooting for issues that may arise during operation. We will end the course with a summary of important topics.
