Description
This course is devoted to the Hydro International Grit Classifiers (Grit Washers) that are installed at the Northeast Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) that serves Philadelphia, PA. We will begin the course with an introduction to the Grit Classifier, how it works, and the other components that assist the unit in its operation. Next, we will go over safety procedures to follow while working on or around the classifier. After safety, we will discuss the operation of the Grit Classifier. Next, we will go over maintenance of the Grit Classifier, as well as troubleshooting for issues that may arise during operation. We will end the course with a summary of important topics.
