Description
This course is dedicated to the Grit Storage Hoppers at the Northeast Water Pollution Control Plant. In this course, we will discuss the grit system and the function of the grit storage hoppers. Next, we will go over the important components of the hoppers followed by safety. After learning about safety, we will discuss how to operate and maintain the units such as startup of the bin activators and lubrication of the pinch valve.
