Lone workers face similar hazards to those who work in teams or alongside coworkers, but because they don't have the benefit of a coworker's presence, should an incident occur, there are scenarios where the lone worker is at a greater risk than his colleagues. This course helps a supervisor or employer to identify the particular risks faced by employees who work alone or in isolation. It outlines OSHA rules on protecting lone workers and it identifies the essential components of an effective safety policy.
