Description
In every industry, the quality of the product depends on taking proper measurements. Throughout the manufacturing process, manufacturers must check whether or not the product conforms to specifications. Therefore, the ability to make reliable and accurate measurements is one of the most important skills in any trade. Precision Measuring Instruments, Part 1 will give the correct procedures for using precision measuring instruments. The purpose, terminology, and accepted industry standards of measurement will also be presented.
Precision Measuring Instruments, Part 2 will teach about micrometers that are commonly used throughout shopwork. You will also become familiar with even more specialized precision mearueing instruments - those suited for tasks in which common measuring instruments wouldn't work accurately.
