Description
Because sheet metal is so important in industry, you need to know sheet metal basics: how sheet metal is measured and how it is formed, and how sheet metal objects are shaped and fitted. Sheet metal drawings are your key to the sheet metal items in the plant. Sheet metal drawings are much the same as other mechanical drawings. The views, arrangements, scales and dimensions, and labeling practices all apply to sheet metal drawings. But in order to inperpret and understand the special lines and markings that explain sheet metal objects, you will need to know about the materials, tools, and processes of sheet metal construction.
