Description
Drinking water treatment facilities must demonstrate to PADEP that they have adequate chlorine disinfection at all times. Tracer studies are needed to determine the actual contact time provided by various disinfection segments such as treatment units, clearwells, tanks and piping. The system operators will learn how to implement the tracer study results into their daily operations.
