Description
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Drawings - This lesson covers the basics of fluid power diagrams. Much of the machinery and equipment in industry is controlled by fluid power systems. So the maintenance worker should have a good understanding of such systems. Piping: Drawings, Materials and Parts - Piping drawings are the key to any piping system. Therefore, every maintenance worker must be able to read a piping drawing. the sizes and lengths of all the piping and the placement and nature of each piece of equipment are shown on the piping drawings. The drawings may include diagrams that explain how the system works or give the temperature and pressure of the liquid or gas flowing through the pipe. Because piping drawings are made up of lines, symbols, marks, and notes, you will have to learn the piping drafter's language in order to read the drawings. You will also need a basic knowledge of the various kinds of pipe and commonly used equipment and accessories.
