Description
This wastewater and drinking water course will help operators and technicians understand the most important aspects of defensible sample collection. The course will cover WWTP sampling with expert guidance on grab vs. composite sampling, influent/effluent sampling, and composite sampling techniques. Students will discover strategies to minimize contamination, ensure sampling equipment quality assurance and quality control, and navigate the unique challenges you encounter in the field. The course will explore the intricacies of drinking water sampling, covering sample locations, techniques, and onsite analysis. Also, instructors will delve into specialty sampling techniques, including PFAS, lead and copper (SDWA), VOAs, and more. Student will learn how to create a robust Sampling Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with essential components, and record keeping, ensuring sampling practices are top-notch.
