Description
EPA Method 334.0 is a quality control protocol for online and handheld/benchtop chlorine analyzers used to collect regulatory data. In PA, all CWSs, NTNC water systems, and TNC water systems that use surface water or 4-log treatment of viruses for groundwater are expected to comply with the method. This is a short review of the original course to explain the various requirements of the method, including applicability, QA/QC considerations, and documentation. The second half of the training covers a job aid for staff when dealing with no or low chlorine residuals and the SOPs that are available for field staff.
