Description
The course is a detailed overview of various types of nitrogen and phosphorus reduction technologies. Process control strategies for nutrient reduction will be discussed, along with a review of process control calculations. Additionally, case studies of nutrient reduction challenges experienced by several municipal WWTPs will be discussed. This course is intended to provide operators with the basics of nitrogen and phosphorus reduction technologies, process control, and troubleshooting.
