Description
This course is designed for new and experienced operators who may need a basic math refresher before jumping into more complex calculations performed in water and wastewater treatment. This course starts with basic concepts including fractions, decimals, exponents, area, and volume.

The focus of this course is the very beginning foundations of mathematics. This course will explain fractions, decimals, units, conversions, and basic algebra. This course will proceed step by step, building understanding so operators can easily use mathematics on the job. This course will help prepare operators for the mathematical problems they will face on the job and also help prepare them with the math skills needed to pass the operator certification examination.
