Description
The purpose of this course is to familiarize operators with the design of the activated sludge process, how the process works, the microbiology used, and laboratory test that are used to monitor and adjust the process.

This course starts with an overview of the activated sludge process, then covers microorganisms, using a microscope, parameters that are commonly monitored, and the laboratory tests and calculations that are used for process control.
