Description
Hazardous energy takes many forms in a water and wastewater system, commonly electricity and hydraulic energy. It can turn deadly if not controlled, especially during maintenance or repair activities. Hazardous Energy Control, commonly called Lock-out Tag-out, ensures this energy is isolated and limits the risk to workers during these activities. This course will review the procedures, planning, and devices used to control hazardous energy within a water or wastewater system.
