Description
This study unit will introduce you to the basic concepts and terminology needed to understand the operation of hydraulic systems. It will define hydraulic power and discuss its uses. Then, it will review physical principles, or terms , you will need to understand when studying functions of hydraulic systems. A discussion of the benefits and characteristics of hydraulic systems, and exactly how and why they work, will conclude this unit.
